GreenHouse: A Sustainable Community Takes Shape

Nov 19, 2024

Urbanize Atlanta reported that Beazer Homes is set to break ground on its largest development to date, the GreenHouse community, located in Marietta, Georgia. This ambitious project will feature 591 homes on a 174-acre site, nearly the size of Piedmont Park, and is situated near the I-75 and I-575 split. GreenHouse will offer a variety of housing options, including townhomes, ranch-style homes, and two-story residences, all certified as Zero Energy Ready by the U.S. Department of Energy.

This certification ensures that the homes exceed local construction and energy codes, promoting sustainability. The development will preserve existing natural features, such as a lake and cemetery, and will include amenities like nature trails, pocket parks, and gardens to foster a sense of community. The first homes are expected to be available for sale in fall 2025.  If you have Land Use or Zoning needs please contact us.
