According to Urbanize Atlanta, a new infill townhome development called Frederick Walk is beginning to come to market along LaVista Road in northeast Atlanta.
The project, located at 1501 LaVista Road near the intersection of Briarcliff Road, replaces two former single-family homes that had previously been converted to office uses with an 18-unit residential townhome community. From a land use and zoning perspective, the redevelopment illustrates a common pattern in Atlanta where underutilized residential or office parcels are redeveloped into higher-density housing through infill development.
Developed by Urban Eco Group and Inhance Development, the project includes four-story townhomes designed by Wright Gardner Architect. The homes feature three bedrooms, four bathrooms, rooftop terraces, and approximately 1,700 square feet of living space. Initial listings released by Compass show prices starting in the low $600,000s, with larger end units expected to reach the mid-$700,000s.
The homes are also EarthCraft Green–certified and located near major Atlanta destinations such as Emory University and Morningside Nature Preserve, highlighting the continued demand for higher-density housing near established neighborhoods and employment centers.
