Campaign Finance, Political, & Election Law

Icon Campaign Finance and Election Law

We counsel and represent candidates and entities in a range of campaign finance, ethics, and compliance matters.

With today’s highly regulated campaign finance laws, it is important that candidates and those entities participating in the political system be aware of and comply with the various regulatory schemes that apply. We have experience counseling and representing businesses, candidates, elected officials, political action committees, non-profit organizations (501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4)), and independent committees/Super PAC’s to advise on campaign finance and disclosure laws, and ethics and lobbying regulations. This work ranges from incorporating a campaign, to initial require filings, reviewing campaign finance disclosure reports, voter education and social welfare initiatives, and offering guidance on permitted communications and political campaign engagement. We also have represented clients before regulatory bodies with oversight over campaign finance and disclosures and defended clients who have been subjects of or otherwise involved in investigations.

Our work also includes representing candidates in applicable election laws that a candidate must comply with through their campaign.  From candidate qualifying and campaign finance registration and ethics disclosures to candidate qualification challenges or election challenges after a vote, our team has significant experience representing and advising candidates in these areas.
